Find a foundation repair contractor you can check

Cracks, sinking floors, bowing walls or a wet basement? We list contractors only after checking their state license record and finding dated evidence that they do foundation or waterproofing work. Describe the problem once and we pass it to up to three of them.

  • Foundation cracks
  • Settling or sinking
  • Piering or underpinning
  • Bowing or leaning walls
  • Slab foundation repair
  • Crawl space repair

What's going on with your foundation?

Browse by state

We're building the directory one state at a time, starting with the states below. Each state page explains which public record we check and what it does and does not prove.

How it works

  1. 01

    Describe the problem

Cracks, settling, bowing walls, leaks or crawl space issues. Add the ZIP, a short description and photos.

  2. 02

    We review and match

We check the request and pass it to up to 3 contractors near your ZIP with evidence they do this kind of work.

  3. 03

    Compare assessments

Contractors contact you directly. Compare their diagnosis and written scope, then decide. No obligation.

Two checks before we list anyone

Most states don't issue a "foundation repair" license, so a valid license alone doesn't tell you a company does this work. We look for two separate things: a public credential record (where the state has one), with the board's own status wording and the date we checked, and dated evidence that the business offers foundation repair, waterproofing or crawl space work. A company name is never enough.

Read how we verify listings.

What we don't do

  • We don't publish ratings or reviews we haven't collected ourselves.
  • We don't show contractor phone numbers or emails; the request form is the contact path.
  • We don't send your request to more than three contractors.
  • We don't claim a listed business has agreed to take your job.
